TC Euro Cars (TCEC) has added the Megane RS 280 Cup to the Renault Subscription in Malaysia. For those unsure about the Renault Subscription, it allows customers to break away from long-term loans and depreciation costs for as low as RM 43 per day. Introduced in July, the two plans – Fixed and Switch was available for either the Renault Captur or Koleos.
Now TCEC has added the sporty Megane RS 280 Cup to the subscription. Available in either the six-speed EDC transmission of six-speed manual, the RS 280 Cup can be driven home for a period of one to three years. Powered by a 1.8-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine that makes 276 hp and 390 Nm of torque. The century sprint from a standstill is 5.8-seconds and on to a top speed of 250 km/h.
The differences between the Fixed Plan and the Switch Plan is that the latter allows some freedom and flexibility to access the Koleos or Megane RS on top of the Captur. Here the Switch Plan offers the Captur for a one-year period but also a two or four-month access (depending on the Type) to the Koleos and Megane RS. There isn’t a mileage cap or cancellation penalties on either plans, and includes road tax, insurance, regular servicing and wear & tear for the Captur.
As for the Fixed Plan, it is more affordable depending on short period of one, two or three years, with a monthly usage rate that covers road tax, insurance and regular servicing costs and starts from as low as RM1,299 for the Captur or RM3,999 for the Megane RS.
