Volvo offers a five-year warranty with unlimited mileage. Maintenance costs incurred after the warranty period can range between RM1,234* and RM2,425*, based on the model, as well as the repair type.

The average depreciation rate of a Volvo is 20 percent after the first year and 44 percent in five years. This varies according to factors including the car’s condition and mileage. 

Is the insurance expensive for a used Volvo?

Insurance rate is calculated based on the market price of your car, coverage type, location, engine capacity and your No Claims Discount (NCD). For example, a used XC40 (1969 cc) in Peninsula Malaysia with zero percent NCD will cost roughly RM5,513* yearly, compared to a brand new XC40 at RM 6,591*.
