Shell’s fifth consecutive annual Raya Charity Campaign this year with the name ‘Anda Beli, Kami Derma’ has raised a total of RM 1.92-million for the select three beneficiaries in the campaign.
The 10-day campaign which started 30th May 2019 to 8th June 2019 is part of Shell’s annual efforts to spread the spirit of caring and sharing during the ‘balik kampung’ season. During the campaign period, Shell donated 1 sen for every litre of Shell fuel pumped and 1 sen for every RM 1.00 spent at Shell Select stores. Partnered in the effort is Mastercard, who also came in for the second consecutive year by contributing 1 sen to the Food Aid Foundation for every litre of Shell fuel pumped, and every RM 1.00 spent at Shell Select stores paid with any credit or debit Mastercards.
This year motorists were given the option to donate to the organisation of the choice. The beneficiaries include the National Cancer Society Malaysia, Food Aid Foundation and Malaysian Nature Society. Whether it is providing care and support for those affected by cancer, distributes surplus food to the needy or conserve Malaysia’s diverse habitats, each organisation is committed to help save people and the planet.
