Not a lot of brands in Malaysia could boast a 120-year presence, but Cycle & Carriage can. In conjunction with their 120th anniversary celebrations this year, the Star Galleria, a mobile showroom will visit multiple locations across Malaysia throughout the year to immerse fans with the products and customer service as well as exceptional journey’s with the brand.
Visitors to the mobile Autohaus, currently located at Plaza Arkadia, will be able to have a taste of Cycle & Carriage’s retail service by creating a unique space to explore and test drive their favourite models, and learn more about the different vehicle packages that suit their varying needs. The Star Galleria will have Wi-Fi and have in-built digital devices to facilitate consultations, and fans can also learn about new offers, financing and insurance solutions to assist the ownership experience.
At the Star Galleria, the Cycle & Carriage sales executives and product experts are well-versed in walking customers through a detailed ownership process. There’s also a refreshments counter where customers will be able to enjoy a warm or cold beverage and snack while immersing themselves in the Mercedes-Benz retail experience. For those who would like to keep a part of the brand, Mercedes-Benz merchandise will be on display for fans to start and add to their collection.
Cycle & Carriage began in Kuala Lumpur in 1899 and is currently the leading regional automotive group in Southeast Asia with 1 brands operating in Malaysia, Singapore and Myanmar. Today the brand has a network presence of 13 outlets in Malaysia, three ‘Centre of Competence’ body and paint collision repair facilities in Batu Caves, Bukit Tengah, and Johor Bahru certified by Mercedes-Benz parent company, Daimler AG.
However, the Star Galleria isn’t the only introduction by C&C. This year C&C launched a new brand promise – ‘Exceptional Journeys’ based on the premise that journeys are not measured by distance, but in memories we acquire.

Also to commemorate its 120th anniversary, the brand launched a regional campaign for customers in Singapore, Malaysia and Myanmar to give away 120 exceptional journeys of specially curated trips to three destinations: Mongolia, Nepal and South Korea. To participate, customers in Malaysia that purchase a new or pre-owned Mercedes-Benz from Cycle & Carriage will receive 12 entries, or every RM 3,000 spent in a single receipt or invoice for maintenance, repairs or purchase or merchandise and accessories will receive 1 entry (capped at 12 entries).
