ACE Performance Wheel is the latest Goodyear AutoCare center

Goodyear Malaysia’s newest AutoCare center is in Kemaris Avenue, Rawang. Operated by ACE Performance Wheel, the center is one of over 200 Goodyear outlets in Malaysia. It offers state-of-the-art service bays and comprehensive automotive service kits, offering customers a one-stop center for automotive needs. ACE Performance provides a range of Goodyear tires, from the entry-level Assurance Duraplus 2 or Assurance TripleMax 2, to the Eagle F1 Asymmetric 5. New Proton 3S outlet in Puchong

Operated by Lesydear Automobile, the latest Proton 3S outlet is in Bandar Bukit Puchong within easy access from the LDP highway. The outlet costs approximately RM2.5 million to build and consists of six bays and four hoists and can accommodate up to five display cars in the showroom. There are amenities available for customers’ comfort and convenience, such as a coffee bar, plug points for devices and free Wi-Fi. Retiree wins BMW sportscar

Quill Automobiles’ has announced the grand prize winner of the X Marks The Future Contest. Wong Ngai Chee, a 73-year-old retiree, drove home a brand-new BMW Z4 sDrive30i M Sport roadster. The contest ran from July 2019 to January 2020 as part of the dealership’s new showroom expression. Any customer who purchased a new BMW vehicle during the period were entitled to 10 entry forms. Wong qualified for the contest when his daughter bought him a BMW X1 as a surprise gift. Second prize winner Millie Yap and third prize winner Angeline Kwan went home with an exclusive cabin-size Tumi luggage and a VIP dining experience at Le Petit Chef by Elements KL, respectively.

 

Renault Subscription offers a new 7-day trial

Renault Malaysia has introduced a Trial Package to the brand’s subscription service for the Captur crossover. Customers who sign up for the package only need to make a one-time up-front payment of RM399 to enjoy the Captur. The package is offered for seven days at RM57 per day and does not come with a mileage cap or security deposit. After the one-week trial, customers can choose to move on to the Fixed or Switch plans. Interested customers can register their interest via the Renault E-Store.

 

Shell adds more stations with free Touch ‘n Go top-up

Shell has extended its waiver of Touch ‘n Go top-up fee to include all stations along the PLUS expressways – NKVE, ELITE and East-Coast Expressways. Last month, Shell announced the waiver of the RM0.50 Touch ‘n Go top-up fee at all their stations along the North-South Expressway. Shairan Huzaini Husain, managing director of Shell Malaysia Trading, said the company understands the challenge Malaysians face against the rising cost of living. “We know it can be difficult to save when there are inclining necessary expenses like food transportation, utilities and education, which form a huge part of one’s expenditure. Hopefully, forgoing the Touch ‘n Go top-up charges at all stations along the NSE, NKVE, ELITE, ECE and other stations will give our customers one less worry when travelling or fuelling up at Shell during long journeys,” he said. Orders open for 2020 Toyota Alphard and Vellfire

Toyota Malaysia has opened pre-launch orders for the 2020 Alphard and Vellfire, the brands premium MPVs. The latest MPVs have been upgraded with advanced systems that focus on safety and connectivity. The safety features include Toyota’s Safety Sense that comprises the pre-collision system, lane departure alert, lane tracing assist, dynamic radar cruise control and a parking support brake system that automatically brakes the vehicle if an object is detected to be within the parking process.

 

Toyota also included a vehicle telematics system that uses a GPS to track the location of the car at all times and assist the police in case of vehicle theft. Other features include an AVX infotainment system and more can be expected with the new models. Prices start from RM383,000 for the Vellfire and RM464,000 for the Alphard. VW Malaysia returns as a partner for Le Tour de Langkawi 2020

Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia will once again be the official car sponsor for this year’s 25th edition of Le Tour de Langkawi. The brand’s third time sponsoring the event will see them provide a total of 120 units of the Tiguan Highline SUV that will be used throughout the race by riders, safety marshals and officials. The Tiguan combines a 1.4-liter turbocharged engine with a wet dual-clutch gearbox to output 150PS and 250 Nm of torque between 1,500 to 3,500 rpm. Le Tour de Langkawi is a multiple-stage bicycle race that has gained multiple accolades and is recognized as a highlight in the global competitive cycling calendar.
