Volkswagen Malaysia is back this year to host another round of the Volkswagen Fest 2018. The weekend festival happens from 12th until the 14th October 2018 at the Setia City Convention Centre in Shah Alam.
Visitors and enthusiasts of the brand will have the opportunity to test drive a variety of VW models and enjoy rebates and deals on new and pre-registered cars. There will also be free petrol vouchers worth RM 3,000 on selected pre-registered cars and on truly amazing deals such as the Vento from as low as RM 55,888 and the Golf GTI from as low as RM 188,888.
Of course a VW festival won’t be complete without a gathering of Volkswagen cars both classic and current from VW enthusiasts around Malaysia, music from local bands and activities including busker performances, art installations and a range of Klang Valley’s best food trucks.
Those interested to trade-in their vehicles will be able to get their vehicle’s inspected on the spot with a quotation, as Carsome is the authorised trade-in panel for any second hand car valuation at Volksfest 2018.
‘Join’ range special edition models unveiled
Those looking to stand out from the standard range could look at VW’s ‘Join’ range for the Polo, Vento, Tiguan and Passat. The ‘Join’ accessories include side scuff plates, rear spoiler, trunk garnish, VW Tint, and a list of other exclusive add-ons worth up to RM 12,000 depending on model.
In conjunction with the launch, VW also took the opportunity to collaborate with Lazada Malaysia to offer 25 ‘Join’ model units available until 30th October 2018. Interested customers only need to pay a booking fee of RM 799 or RM 1,699 depending on model, and the retail price to receive the ‘Join’ accessory package for free.
“Volkswagen Cares” customer loyalty program launched
The brand also bolstered VW owners confidence by launching a customer loyalty program. The aftersales-led initiative uses a mobile application platform to engage with its customers and to continuously improve the ownership experience. The app comes with a list of features related to sales and aftersales, which includes service offers, owner rewards, educational videos and 24-hours’ roadside assistance.
Part of Volkswagen Cares includes Volkswagen Care Plus (VCP), an exclusive program for owners with a vehicle 5-years and older. With a one-time payment of RM 138, VCP member privileges include three 20 per cent service discounts vouchers, 2-year extension of Volkswagen’s Roadside Assistance, and a RM 100 merchandise voucher, which can be viewed and managed within the mobile app. VPCM is offering free membership to the first 200 customers who register.
