Terms & Conditions
i. The Facebook Live Promotion (“Promotion”) will run on 24 June 2021 from 21:00 to 22:00 (GMT+8), which is also referred to as the (“Promotion Period”). Carsome Sdn Bhd (201401025864) (“Organizer”) reserves the right to shorten or extend the Promotion Period without prior notice.
ii. Promotion is open to anyone residing in Malaysia over the age of 18 years old and are eligible to purchase a vehicle in accordance with the prevailing laws and regulations of Malaysia.
iii. Participants must adhere to Carsome’s contest mechanics that will be announced during the Promotion Period to be eligible for the Promotion. Carsome reserves the right to change their promotional mechanics at any time, without prior notice.
iv. This Promotion will be separated into two segments of “Flash Sale Discount” and “Giveaway”.
Flash Sale Discount
a. This Flash Sale Discount is only valid for the purchase of one (1) Perodua Axia and one (1) Toyota Vios that will be determined at the Organizer’s discretion.
b. Participants are only entitled to the Flash Sale Discount upon successful completion of the selected vehicle booking before the end of the Promotion Period, including the completed payment of the prescribed booking fee on Carsome’s website.
c. The Organizer reserves the right to amend the successful participant at their sole discretion and is allowed to change the winners at any time, should any need arise.
d. A RM2,000 discount will be issued to one (1) participant for the purchase of a selected Perodua Axia.
e. A RM5,000 discount will be issued to one (1) participant for the purchase of a selected Toyota Vios.
f. This Flash Sale Discount voucher is non-transferable or exchangeable for cash.
g. This Flash Sale Discount voucher cannot be used with other Carsome Vouchers but is applicable and valid for any existing Carsome sales campaigns.
Giveaway
a. The Giveaway refers to the distribution of Carsome Discount Vouchers with the cash value of RM500 for the purchase of any available vehicle listed on Carsome’s platform.
b. Five (5) Promotion participants will be selected to receive one (1) Carsome Discount Vouchers each, provided that the participant has adhered to Carsome’s Promotion mechanics as prescribed during the Promotion Period.
c. Winning participants will be contacted by Carsome’s representative for confirmation details upon the end of the Promotion Period. In the event the winning participants cannot be contacted within five (5) days after the end of the Promotion Period, the Organizer reserves the right to amend and re-select the winners.
d. The Organizer reserves the right to select the winning participant at their sole discretion and to change the winners at any time.
e. The Carsome Discount Vouchers are non-transferable or exchangeable for cash.
f. The Carsome Discount Vouchers cannot be used with other Carsome Vouchers but is applicable and valid for any existing Carsome sales campaigns.
v. All images shown on Carsome’s website, emails, social media and advertising materials are for illustration purposes only, unless stated otherwise.
vi. The Organizer’s decisions on any matter relating to this Promotion are final and binding on all participants of this Promotion. The Organizer may disqualify anyone who, in their opinion, has tampered with or disrupted the entry process or operation of this Promotion or violated the terms and conditions.
vii. The Organizer reserves the right to amend or change these Terms & Conditions at their sole and absolute discretion.
viii. To the extent permitted by the law, Carsome excludes all liability in connection with this Promotion. All participants agree to release Carsome from and indemnify Carsome against all liability (including negligence) for any personal injury or loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct or indirect, special or consequential arising out of participation in this Program.
ix. By participating in the Program, all participants:
a. provide consent for Carsome to collect, record, hold, store, use and disclose their personal information for purposes which are necessary or related to the participation in the Program;
b. provide consent for Carsome to disclose or publish their personal information such as their names or identities and any general information that Carsome sees fit about the participants in any media, marketing or advertising materials; and
c. grant Carsome the absolute and unrestricted right to modify, use and publish any still or moving images of the participants for any promotional, marketing, commercial or other related purpose, without any payment or compensation.
d. agree that the personal information/personal data supplied by any participant for this Promotion will be used by the Organizer in accordance with its privacy policy at https://www.carsome.my/privacy_policy.
x. The Organizer shall not be liable to the participants or for any other party for any loss or damage of whatsoever nature suffered by a participant or such other party as a result of participation or non-participation in the Campaign or as a result of any act or omission on the part of us.
xi. If any matters arise which are not covered in these Terms & Conditions, they will be solely determined by the Organizer. No correspondence will be entertained.
xii. If, for any reason, the Promotion is not capable of running as planned by reason of, but not limited to, bugs or technical failures, the Organizer reserves the right to cancel, modify or suspend the Promotion without prior notice.
