The Volkswagen Beetle is without a doubt, the iconic car that put VW on the map. Its distinctive shape and heritage is celebrated the world over. As the icon celebrates its 80th birthday this year, Volkswagen Malaysia will be celebrating it locally with all nationwide dealers opening their doors, this Saturday, 17th March from 11am till 5pm.
Visitors to the celebration will be able to test drive the Beetle Sport 1.2 TSI, apart from fun themed activities and refreshments for the whole family. Those who take part in the test drive will also stand a chance to win a lucky draw price of a LEGO Creator Expert Volkswagen Beetle at the dealership.
Priced from RM 147,888 in colours of either Bottle Green, Pure White, Tornado Red, Blue Silk, Dark Bronze and Habanero Orange, The Beetle Sport features paddle shifters, cruise control, 2-zone Climatronic air-conditioning system, 6.5-inch Composition media with touch screen display with AppConnect, Vienna seats with front seat lumbar support and bi-xenon headlamps with LED daytime running lights amongst others.
There’s a rebate of RM 5,000 for the Beetle as well as cash rebates of up to RM 15,000 on other VW models. As introduced earlier this year, all Volkswagen models registered this year will also come with a 3-year or 45,000 km free maintenance package.
