Join the largest ever Beetle gathering in Malaysia this July 2019!

Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia will be organising a get together titled Beetle, An Iconic Gathering this 13^th July 2019 in Putrajaya. The event welcomes Beetle owners from all generations in celebration of the iconic model from the brand.

Volkswagen Malaysia will be attempting to break the current Malaysian record of the most Beetle’s gathered in one location during the event. Those interested can participate and register their Beetle’s on VW’s website. Participation is free, and details of the event are provided during the online registration. All participants will also receive a certificate of participation from Volkswagen.

The celebration will kick-off with a 150-strong Beetle Sunshine Tour convoy that will be flagged off in the heart of KL, where it will go through the streets of the Golden Triangle before proceeding to Putrajaya, where it will join the other Beetle cars at the Palace of Justice.

Designed by Ferdinand Porsche in 1938, the Beetle has had much success, with over 21.5 million units sold globally. Despite only having three generations over a span of over 80 years, VW announced that the Beetle will end production this year.
