BMW appoints new dealer for Sabah

BMW Group Malaysia has appointed Regas Premium Sabah is the authorised dealer representative for BMW, Mini and Motorrad in Sabah. Regas Premium Sabah is a joint venture between TM Vision Auto Services and Regas Premium Auto, the latter who is the authorised dealer representative for Sarawak. The new dealer will be taking over FM Autohaus as the new dealership in Kota Kinabalu and will operate in the existing facility for the full 4S across the brands. The 4S will commence operation from 1st July 2018 at Mile 3, Lido, Jalan Penampang, 88300 Penampang.

Mazda CX-3 facelift previewed at 1 Utama

Mazda Malaysia has previewed the facelifted CX-3 at 1 Utama shopping centre, which will be there until July 1st. Largely similar to the pre-facelift, the new CX-3 on the exterior includes a new grille and redesigned tail lamps inspired by the CX-5 and new alloy wheels as well. Inside, the update is similar to the other vehicles in the brand’s portfolio, with the replacement of an electronic parking brake, and a slight style difference to the central dashboard design. Additions to the update includes Blind Spot Monitoring and Rear Cross Traffic Alert. The CX-3 is estimated to cost RM 121,134 on the road without insurance. Volvo Car Malaysia launches Volvo Car Leasing with MyMotor

Volvo Car Malaysia has signed a Leasing Service Agreement with MyMotor (MYEG Fintech) to launch Volvo Car Leasing – a service that will let customers enjoy stress-free Volvo ownership for Volvo’s full range of models from as low as RM 2,762. The programme includes cost of registration, insurance and maintenance, and customers can choose to purchase the car at the agreed Future Guaranteed Value (FGV) or continue the lease with a new model. With this launch, all models will be offered with a promotional rate that is applicable till 31st August 2018. Volvo Car Leasing will also be offering free petrol vouchers worth RM 300 for all bookings received within this promotional period.

 

Perodua gives away 100 child seats for Raya

Perodua distributed 100 GearUp child seats to motorists at three highway rest areas in Peninsula Malaysia. The Toddler seats were gifted to lucky Perodua drivers travelling with children aged between two and six, at Petronas stations at Rawang (PLUS), Bentong (Karak Highway) and Seremban (KL-Seremban Highway) rest areas. Introduced concurrently with the Road Safety Campaign in October, Perodua’s GearUp child seats are available in two models. Both are ISOFIX compatible and satisfy ECE R44 safety standards. The Infant seat, priced at RM 622.50 (RM 640 in East Malaysia) is suitable for infants weighing up to 13 kg, while the Toddler seat, priced at RM 736 (RM 754.50 in East Malaysia), is designed for children weighing 9-36 kg.

 

The New Golf R-Line is Now Available with ‘R-Line’ Seats

Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia (VPCM) announced that the new Golf R-Line now comes with ‘R-Line’ Vienna leather seats. Golf R-Line comes with the ‘R-Line’ styling package, which includes ‘R- Line’ front and rear bumpers, rear spoiler, ‘R-Line’ badges on its radiator grille and side panels. Nabil Jeffri & Teammates Pull Off A Remarkable Finish At The 24 Hours Of Le Mans

The all Malaysian Jackie Chan DC Racing X Jota team made an epic comeback during the 24 Hours of Le Mans race at the Circuit de la Sarthe in France. An early technical setback in the second lap placed them last, but the Malaysian team led by Jazeman Jaafar, Weiron Tan and Nabil Jeffri came back strongly to finish sixth in the LMP2 class and 10th overall at the prestigious World Endurance Championship (WEC) 24 Hours of Le Mans. The Jackie Chan DC Racing X Jota team currently sits on second place in the LMP2 class in the World Endurance Championship.
