Since the success of the e-commerce sale of 12 VW Beetles on Lazada last December, Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia is now embracing online car sales with the launch of the Volkswagen Marketplace.
The Marketplace is an e-platform where customers can reserve a Volkswagen car and enjoy exclusive online offers. As the first-of-its-kind platform, the Marketplace launched with an exclusive online-only deal of 20 units of the Passat 1.8 TSI Trendline Cyber for RM 135,888.
The Passat 1.8 TSI Trendline Cyber features the brand’s 1.8-litre TSI turbocharged engine mated to a 7-speed DSG gearbox for an output of 178 hp and 250 Nm of torque between 1,250 and 5,000 rpm. Customers that are interested to make a booking only need to follow a simple four step process of selecting their model, preferred dealer and submit their details. A reservation fee with credit card payment of RM 1,500 will be deducted from the price of the car. A Volkswagen sales representative will be in touch with the new owner to finalise the purchase until the car is fully registered and ready for collection.
All Volkswagen models from the Marketplace will come with a 5-year free maintenance and 1-year free insurance on top of the 5-year manufacturer warranty and 5-year roadside assistance. Customers will also be able to enjoy a low interest rate of 0.88 per cent per annum on the Passat Trendline Cyber.
For those looking to get the best deals, fret not if VW does not have the current model for you. The brand has mentioned that the Marketplace will be regularly updated with new offers.
