There are two variants of the Mercedes-Benz GLC available in Malaysia. They are the Mercedes-Benz GLC 200 AMG Line and the Mercedes-Benz GLC 300 AMG Line.

The price of a new Mercedes-Benz GLC in Malaysia starts from RM299,539 for the GLC 200 AMG Line and RM338,693 for the GLC 300 AMG Line.

Colors Available

There are six colors available on the Mercedes-Benz GLC. The five colors shared between the two variants are Polar White, Iridium Silver, Obsidian Black, Cavansite Blue, and Selenite Grey. The GLC 300, on the other hand, is also available in Graphite Grey.

Mercedes-Benz GLC Basic Features

Interior

The interior of the Mercedes-Benz GLC is designed with luxury and comfort in mind. Firstly, it has ARTICO man-made leather upholstery available in several color combinations including all black, cranberry red/black, and saddle brown/black. The driver and front passenger also have sports seats with lumbar support and plenty of side bolstering. Other interior features include a fully digital instrument cluster, leather-wrapped steering wheel with touch control buttons, a THERMOTRONIC three-zone automatic climate control system, ambient lighting, smartphone integration, and remote engine start.

Exterior

On the exterior, the Mercedes-Benz GLC is fitted with AMG body styling including a diamond radiator grille with chrome pins and AMG five-twin-spoke light-alloy wheels. It also has full LED lighting including LED high-performance headlamps.

Cabin Space

The Mercedes-Benz GLC is a large SUV with ample passenger room and cargo capacity, making it a great family SUV. It measures 4,658 mm long, 1,890 mm wide, and 1,644 mm tall. It also has a 550-liter boot which is expandable by folding the rear seats down.

Infotainment system

The infotainment on the GLC is controlled on a 10.25-inch touch screen display that runs on the Mercedes-Benz User Experience (MBUX) system. Besides touch, it can be controlled via voice commands, gestures, and a touch pad located on the center console. The system also has Mercedes me connect, which allows users to link their smartphone and car to monitor vehicle data and control certain vehicle functions. Audio is handled by a Burmester surround sound system.

Mercedes-Benz GLC Driving Performance

Both variants of the Mercedes-Benz GLC are powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine. In the GLC 200 AMG, the engine produces 194 PS of max power and 320 Nm of max torque. It also has a 0 to 100 km/h acceleration time of 7.8 seconds and fuel consumption of up to 7.1 L/100 km. On the other hand, the engine in the GLC 300 AMG produces 245 PS of max power and 370 Nm. The GLC 300 AMG can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.2 seconds and has a fuel consumption of up to 7.1 L/100 km. Both variants have a 9G-TRONIC automatic transmission that sends the power to the rear wheels.

Mercedes-Benz GLC Safety Features

Besides the standard safety features, the Mercedes-Benz GLC is equipped with the Mercedes-Benz Intelligent Drive system. Features included in the system are Active Brake Assist, Blind Spot Assist, Active Lane Keeping Assist, and a PRE-SAFE system that anticipates a collision and takes measures to protect the occupants.
