About You

As the Senior Analyst Regional Sales Strategy, you will report to Carsome’s Head of Regional Sales Strategy and be a part of Carsome’s Regional Sourcing team. You will have frequent exposure to Carsome’s senior leadership and will interact heavily with sourcing teams based in each of our operating markets (currently Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and Singapore). Your key deliverables focus on managing and determining the effectiveness of our Trade Marketing programs and campaigns running in our operating markets for both demand and supply. The role will balance the need for effective campaigns against the available budgets per market. The candidate needs to display a keen understanding of driving sustainable unit economics when sourcing vehicles for both wholesale and retail sides of the business. Pricing analysis and scenario modelling is another deliverable within the role and there will need to be collaboration with business intelligence, finance and other commercial stakeholders, as well as operating and in country sourcing and commercial teams. You will play a key role within the region to shape our commercial agenda, and over time the role could provide significant opportunity for growth within the Carsome organisation.

Your Day-to-Day

  • Analysis of local country trade marketing program efficiency & lead post campaign analysis for impact and efficacy. Predict upcoming campaign efficiency and project required budget requirements.
  • Build out cost optimisation scenarios around campaign effectiveness alongside performance marketing and local trade marketing teams.
  • Generate scenarios and plans for pricing changes and fee/revenue model revisions by country.
  • Review country unit economics and sustainability of performance marketing, trade marketing, campaigns and external commissions.
  • Support Carsome’s SVP Commercial Sourcing in additional analysis and scenario work/brainstorming or in reporting as required by business from time to time.

Your Know-How

  • Degree in IT/Engineering/Business/Finance/Commerce or related fields.
  • Ideally a minimum of 2-4 years of experience in management consulting.
  • The ideal candidate has strong analytical capability, alongside the ability to deeply understand underlying market business drivers, and can build a strong working rapport with a diverse set of stakeholders and demonstrates a clear bias for action.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Suite, experience with SQL will be an advantage.
