Mercedes-Benz Malaysia has updated its S-Class family fleet with a range of new cars that is aimed at defining the brand\u2019s flagship limousine, coupe and cabriolet cars. These are the cars that you should know about.<\/p>\n

Mercedes S 450L<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

On the exterior front, the new S 450L is distinguishable with a new radiator grille with three twin- louvres in chrome. The Multibeam LED headlamps features the three-streak DRL design, and the whole bumper has a new design with sporty looks and pronounced air intakes.<\/p>\n

At the rear, the bumper has been restyled. This is joined by the new LED lamps with a jewel illuminating effect, and when unlocked or locked, plays a light show. Rims are 20-inch AMG 10-spoke light alloys.<\/p>\n

Immediately noticeable is the new steering wheel design, which is the latest iteration equipped with touch-sensitive control buttons. The driver will be able to control the entire infotainment system direction from the steering wheel or through the touchpad controller in the centre console. Following from the displays of the new E-Class sedans is the two 12.3-inch displays that take up a commanding view of the dashboard. The buttons previously located between the displays have been relocated.<\/p>\n

Interior trim options include a brown-black, beige-brown paired to a high-gloss brown eucalyptus wood trim.<\/p>\n

The Linguatronic voice control is also now able to work with vehicle functions to control air conditioning, seat ventilation, interior lighting, seat massage function and head-up display.<\/p>\n

Mercedes-Maybach S 560<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The most opulent S-Class takes its form in the Maybach S 560. With 200 mm longer than the S 450L, the limousine is aimed at complete comfort on the road. At the front, the vertical struts on the grille is one that was inspired by a pinstripe suit and also includes the Maybach logotype between the louvres. Apart from this, the visual cues that separate the Maybach seen at launch here, is the 20-inch multi-spoke rims, or three other optional exclusive designs.<\/p>\n

At the side, the Maybach badge is featured on the C-pillars and at the rear is standard S-Class albeit for the badge identifiers.<\/p>\n

Two new exclusive colour combinations of Armagnac Brown-Black and Savanna Beige-Black. The black Maybach Exclusive nappa leather upholstery appointments can also be ordered with a choice of copper-, gold-, or platinum-coloured contrasting topstitching.<\/p>\n

Differences in the dashboard at the front are the three-spoke steering wheel, inclusion if a IWC analogue clock and the quilt patterned leather upholstery.<\/p>\n

The rear individual seats is where the defining Maybach experience lies. Within the seats are 12-individual motors to accommodate different body sizes. The Chauffeur package, the additional front and rear with height adjustment is extended to 77 mm further for the front passenger seat. Rear entertainment, Energizing comfort control, Thermotronic, Air Balance, Vitality programme, and the 27-speaker Burmester 3D surround-sound system includes six-sound sources within the roof liner. These are just the few highlights of the Maybach.<\/p>\n

Magic Body Control adjusts the suspension to surface undulations before the car drives over it. The car seen here is the limited edition Yellow Night Edition of the S 63 Coupe. Painted in a choice of selenite grey magno or night black magno, the Editions are distinguishable from the yellow trim strip on the exterior mirrors. Rims are the 7-spoke light-alloys in black with high-sheen rim flanges and yellow \u2013 painted brake callipers to match the AMG high-performance composite ceramic braking system \u2013 a standard fit for the Edition 1 units.<\/p>\n

Here the Aerodynamics package can be had with the carbon-fibre package for front splitter and spoiler lip, as well as AMG racing stripes on the vehicle flanks. The Coupe\u2019s front grille follows the sporty and signature AMG Panamericana grille, while the rear lamp units are OLED (Organic light-emitting diode) units that allow for the 33 chiclet units in each lamp.<\/p>\n

The Coupe features two additional interesting drive modes of Race and Curve on top of the standard four. Trims for the Cabriolet can be selected including high-gloss brown walnut, satin grey ash wood or design magnolia wood with three upholstery options of AMG Line Plus porcelain, tizian red or Bengal red-black.<\/p>\n
