This is showcasing the company\u2019s commitment to electrification and long-term future beyond the traditional combustion engine. Last year, Volvo Cars were the first global car maker to announce that from 2019 and beyond, all-new models will be electrified.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/carsomemy.s3.amazonaws.com\/Lifestyle\/2019 Volvo S60\/230741_New_Volvo_S60_Safety_Cage.jpg\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"width: 100%; height: 100%;\" src=\"https:\/\/carsomemy.s3.amazonaws.com\/Lifestyle\/2019%20Volvo%20S60\/230741_New_Volvo_S60_Safety_Cage.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: disc; margin-left: 15px;\">The 2019 S60 shares the same Scalable Product Architecture (SPA) platform, safety technology and infotainment system with the model\u2019s V60 estate sibling launched earlier this year. Volvo is one of the first few car manufacturers in the world to implement a full scale state of the art simulator for driving dynamics. The simulator played a vital role in the development of the chassis performance in the new S60. This allowed engineers to test and evaluate wheel suspensions, brakes and geometry early in the development process.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/carsomemy.s3.amazonaws.com\/Lifestyle\/2019 Volvo S60\/s60-360.gif\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"width: 100%; height: 100%;\" src=\"https:\/\/carsomemy.s3.amazonaws.com\/Lifestyle\/2019%20Volvo%20S60\/s60-360.gif\" alt=\"\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: disc; margin-left: 15px;\">It will come with City Safety with Autobrake technology that assists the driver in avoiding potential collisions, and is the only system in the market to recognise pedestrians, cyclists and large animals.
