Mercedes-Benz introduces C 200 AMG line<\/b><\/p>\n

The brand has introduced a new variant to replace the C 200 Avantgarde. This new C 200 AMG line features a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that outputs 204 hp and 300 Nm of torque at 1,600 to 4,000 rpm. Power goes to the rear wheels via a 9G-Tronic automatic transmission. Apart from the AMG exterior and interior visual upgrades, the C 200 AMG line now comes with Mercedes me connect, allowing owners to access basic features remotely via an app. The Mercedes-Benz C 200 AMG line is priced at RM251,588 on the road without insurance (including SST exemption).<\/span><\/p>\n

Mini launches Cooper S Convertible Sidewalk Edition<\/b><\/p>\n

The Mini Convertible Sidewalk Edition is limited to just 20 units in Malaysia. Powering the Sidewalk Edition is a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that develops 192 hp and 280 Nm of torque. The drive goes through a 7-speed Steptronic dual-clutch transmission. What sets the Convertible Sidewalk apart from the standard range is the unique Deep Laguna metallic color, soft top design, rim styling and interior fittings that has been developed especially for this Edition. The Mini Convertible Sidewalk Edition is priced at RM285,900 on the road without insurance (including SST exemption).<\/span><\/p>\n

To commemorate 35 years of the Proton Saga, the brand has launched the Saga Anniversary Edition. Limited to just 1,100 units, the Anniversary Edition is painted in black with yellow highlights on both the exterior and interior of the car. The Anniversary Edition is based on the Saga Premium variant and comes with the same list of equipment albeit with an addition of a new N95 cabin filter. The Proton Saga Anniversary Edition is priced at RM39,300 on the road without insurance (including SST exemption).<\/span><\/p>\n

Shell Malaysia introduces Helix Power and Protect engine oils<\/b><\/p>\n

The two new engine oils are catered for two main driving conditions \u2013 Shell Helix Power for smoother drives on highways, hilly terrain and open roads, and Shell Helix Protect for cars that are frequently in stop-start traffic in cities. The oils are compatible with all 0W, 5W or 10W specification oils and are suitable for most types of cars on Malaysian roads today. The recommended retail price for Helix Power and Protect are RM280 and RM240 respectively for a 4-liter pack.<\/span><\/p>\n

Volkswagen Malaysia recalls 12,732 vehicles<\/b><\/p>\n

The voluntary recall on several models is to rectify the hydraulic pressure accumulator within the 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox caused by a production deviation. The affected models are the Beetle, Cross Touran, Golf (Mk6 and Mk7), Jetta, Passat (B7), Passat CC, Polo (6R) and Scirocco produced between 2011 and 2015. The recall does not affect VW models produced from 2016 and newer. Although affected owners will be notified via mail, they are also encouraged to visit the <\/span>Volkswagen Malaysia website<\/span><\/a><\/span> to check if their vehicle is involved or call the VW customer care line at 1800-18-8947.<\/span><\/p>\n
