It is very important to protect yourself from catching the virus or spreading it. Washing or sanitizing your hands regularly<\/strong><\/p>\n

This has been the most talked about point and the easiest to practice. Wash your hands for at least 20 seconds (that is equivalent to singing 2 rounds of the Happy Birthday song!) with soap and water or sanitize them with an alcohol-base of at least 70%. Doing either of these will kill any bacteria and virus on your hands.<\/p>\n

Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth<\/strong><\/p>\n

These parts are key areas for bacteria and viruses to enter your body. Your hands touch many surfaces which may be contaminated before you transfer it unknowingly to areas on your face. The World Health Organization (WHO) and the Ministry of Health (MOH) in Malaysia recommends maintaining a distance of at least three feet (1 meter) between yourself and others around you. Seek medical care if you have fever, cough and difficulty breathing<\/strong><\/p>\n
