Here\u2019s What to Do First"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>If you are a driver looking to sell your vehicle which you\u2019ve been using for E-Hailing, here are some things that you will need to know before your sale.<\/p>\n<p>The E-Hailing regulation from the Ministry of Transport requires E-Hailing drivers to have a public service vehicle (PSV) licence and an E-Hailing Vehicle Permit (EVP) from 12 October 2019 onwards. The licence and permit are part of being a certified driver to transport paying passengers. Because of this, applying for an E-Hailing Permit will also update your vehicle status from \u2018Persendirian \u2013 Individu\u2019 (Private \u2013 Individual) to a \u2018Persendirian \u2013 E-Hailing\u2019 (Private \u2013 E-Hailing).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-16452 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.carsome.my\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/wp\/ehailing-sticker.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"560\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.carsome.my\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/wp\/ehailing-sticker.jpg 800w, https:\/\/www.carsome.my\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/wp\/ehailing-sticker-300x210.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.carsome.my\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/wp\/ehailing-sticker-768x538.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>As a result of the update, all owners of private E-Hailing vehicles must revert their vehicle status back to \u2018Persendirian \u2013 Individu\u2019 (Private \u2013 Individual) before selling it off.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Before you proceed to sell to Carsome, here are the steps to follow to change your vehicle status:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>You are required to cancel your E-Hailing Vehicle Permit (EVP) with your E-Hailing company.<\/li>\n<li>The procedure may differ with various E-Hailing companies, but as a driver, you should receive a copy of the cancellation letter from your E-Hailing company directed to the JPJ (Jabatan Pengangkutan Jalan) to inform them of the termination.<\/li>\n<li>You will also be required to complete a Puspakom Special Inspection\/ Pemeriksaan Khas (B2) and get a report.<\/li>\n<li>At JPJ, you will need to submit a JPJK8 form, Puspakom B2 Special Inspection report, photocopy of your IC, vehicle grant\/ VOC, and the termination letter from your E-Hailing company.<\/li>\n<li>With the documents submitted above, you will be able to change your vehicle\u2019s status from \u2018Persendirian \u2013 E-Hailing\u2019 (Private \u2013 E-Hailing) to \u2018Persendirian \u2013 Individu\u2019 (Private \u2013 Individual).<\/li>\n<li>With the updated vehicle status to Private \u2013 Individual, you can now proceed with selling your car to Carsome!<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-16465 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.carsome.my\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/wp\/jpjk8-g1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"2000\" height=\"963\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.carsome.my\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/wp\/jpjk8-g1.jpg 2000w, https:\/\/www.carsome.my\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/wp\/jpjk8-g1-300x144.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.carsome.my\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/wp\/jpjk8-g1-768x370.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.carsome.my\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/wp\/jpjk8-g1-1024x493.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 2000px) 100vw, 2000px\" \/> <img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-16466 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.carsome.my\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/wp\/jpjk8-g2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"2000\" height=\"963\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.carsome.my\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/wp\/jpjk8-g2.jpg 2000w, https:\/\/www.carsome.my\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/wp\/jpjk8-g2-300x144.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.carsome.my\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/wp\/jpjk8-g2-768x370.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.carsome.my\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/wp\/jpjk8-g2-1024x493.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 2000px) 100vw, 2000px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff9900;\"><a style=\"color: #ff9900;\" href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/file\/d\/1I29s8xS2LTTOk3YthIxBHWXYKL-N_Rri\/view\">Click here to download the JPJK8 (Pind. 1\/2016) form<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Read here for more stories!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>If you are selling a private vehicle, you will need to get a Puspakom B5 report. <span style=\"color: #ff9900;\"><a style=\"color: #ff9900;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.carsome.my\/news\/item\/what-is-a-puspakom-b5-report\">Find out more here<\/a><\/span>!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Are you a non-Malaysian selling your vehicle or an owner with a Police or Army ID?
