Hyundai-Sime Darby Motors has launched the i30 N performance hatchback that will go on sale exclusively on Lazada Malaysia during its 12.12 Grand Year End Sale. The i30 N will be limited to only 20 units and can be pre-ordered through Lazada\u2019s Chup Dulu<\/em> pre-order feature. Chup Dulu<\/em> enables Lazada shoppers to enjoy exclusive deals and unbeatable prices on selected items by paying a deposit via the Lazada app to reserve the items. From 2nd<\/sup> to 11th<\/sup> December, shoppers can Chup<\/em> their Hyundai i30 N by paying a 50% deposit on the booking fee of RM 2,000 via the Lazada app. Shoppers then need to check out and pay the balance of the booking fee of RM 1,000 from 12 to 14 December to secure the booking. The deposit is non-refundable if the full booking fee payment is not completed.<\/p>\n

Buyers will be contacted by a Hyundai representative to proceed to purchase their vehicle at their preferred Hyundai showroom. The 20 shoppers and eventual owners who successfully complete payment of the full booking fee of RM 2,000 and receive a loan approval for their vehicle will also get to go for a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Korea for an exclusive track day experience.<\/p>\n

The i30 N for the Malaysian market is the flagship i30 N Performance variant that is powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged engine that delivers up to 271 hp and 353 Nm of torque from 1,450 to 4,700 rpm. It is mated to a six-speed manual transmission with power going to the front wheels.<\/p>\n

The exterior design is shaped to not only look good but inject function as well. The horizontal LED daytime running lights sit on two air inlets on both sides of the car\u2019s front bumper, which enhance brake cooling and aerodynamics. Behind the grille, additional air curtains enhance air flow, reduce turbulence in the wheel arches and improves engine cooling. The front splitter and rear wing spoiler have also been crafted to create downforce and exceptional aerodynamic balance.<\/p>\n

Inside the cabin, the interior is designed to be driver focused. The electronic instrument cluster has a shift timing indicator at the top of the cluster which indicates when to change gears for optimal racetrack driving performance. The red zone of the variable LED rev counter changes according to driving performance and engine oil temperature.<\/p>\n

When it comes to safety, the i30 N comes with the latest active safety features. This includes the Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB) that operates in three stages using camera sensors. First, it warns the driver visually and audibly. In the second step, it controls the brakes according to the collision danger stage, and in the final stage, maximum braking force is applied to avoid a collision or to minimise damage if a collision is unavoidable. Other features listed comprises of a Driver Attention Alert that monitors driving patterns and active Lane Keeping Assist System that guides the car back to a safe position if it steers beyond the road lines.<\/p>\n
