Mini Malaysia has launched on 7th November 2019 the new facelift Mini Clubman in the market. Available in a sole Cooper S variant, the Mini Clubman joins the other Mini\u2019s in the range with more doors.<\/p>\n

On the outside, the new Mini Clubman is distinctively updated. There\u2019s a redesigned radiator grille at the front, the new full circle LED headlights and new LED rear lights with the Union Jack graphics.<\/p>\n

Mini Malaysia has also decided to include the new Clubman with several Mini Yours customised accessories that allow the owner to express his or her individual style. Here the exterior of the new Clubman is fitted with 18-inch light alloy wheels in the Mini Yours British Spoke two-tone design together with the Mini Yours design label on the side windows.<\/p>\n

Within the cabin, the new Clubman is accentuated with the Mini Yours selection. There\u2019s the Mini Yours Walknappa carbon black leather seat upholstery with the Union Jack motifs on the headrests, Mini Yours interior style Frozen Blue illumination for the door bezels, cockpit bezel and trim, as well as centre console trim elements that have been designed to harmonise in matching colours.<\/p>\n

Additionally, there are Mini Yours floor mats with black piping and aluminium-coloured seam patterns.<\/p>\n

How\u2019s power like?<\/strong><\/p>\n

The new Clubman comes in the Cooper S form. This means it is powered by a 2.0-litre four-cylinder Twinpower Turbo engine that outputs 192 hp and 280 Nm of torque from 1,350 to 4,600 rpm. Century sprint from a standstill takes 7.2-seconds and goes on to a top speed of 228 km\/h. The engine is paired to a new 7-speed dual clutch sports automatic transmission. Rated fuel consumption and emissions is 6.2-litres per 100 km and 141 g\/km of CO2 respectively.<\/p>\n

The central infotainment unit in the new Clubman is a high resolution 6.5-inch touchscreen navigation unit. It includes Mini Connected with built-in 4G SIM technology for added safety and intelligent emergency call and Mini Teleservices. Because of the connected features, owners can use the Mini Connected app that will allows owners to have a wide range of digital services such as the Concierge Service, Apple Carplay and Mini Online that provides mobility planning to be integrated seamlessly in daily digital routines. Music now comes from a 12-speaker Harman Kardon system that has been exclusively customised for the car.<\/p>\n

Mini Remote Services when used together also displays vehicle location, fuel level and other vehicle status right on the owner\u2019s smartphone. The function also allows the quick activation of the headlight flash, horn, ventilation and door locking and unlocking.<\/p>\n

Exterior colours include the new Indian Summer Red, New British Racing Green, Pepper White, Thunder Grey, Melting Silver and Starlight Blue. The new Mini Cooper S Clubman retails for RM 298,888<\/strong> on the road without insurance and is covered by Mini\u2019s 5-year roadside assistance that include 24-hour, 365-days-a-year accident and help on the phone and on the spot hotline, free towing services, replacement vehicle, seamless mobility, accommodation, mobility services solutions as well as repatriation services.<\/p>\n

John Cooper Works Clubman & Countryman<\/strong><\/p>\n

Mini Malaysia also introduced the brand\u2019s latest JCW Clubman and Countryman alongside the Clubman facelift.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

These performance driven models are essentially the most powerful Mini\u2019s ever in the brand\u2019s 60-year history. Labelled as the John Cooper Works 306 hp variants, power comes from a redesigned 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine that develops 306 hp with 450 Nm of torque from 1,750 to 4,500 rpm. Zero to hundred times are 4.9-seconds and 5.1-seconds respectively for the JCW Clubman and Countryman. Both Mini\u2019s are paired to an 8-speed Steptronic Sports automatic transmission.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Mechanically, the JCW duo also comes with new sport brakes, cooling and sport exhaust systems to keep the 306 hp in check. They also come equipped with the ALL4, all-wheel drive as standard for added grip, stability and control provided by the mechanical front differential lock. Whether it\u2019s on uneven surfaces, wet and slippery roads or during cornering, ALL4 has good traction on every terrain.<\/p>\n

With more power comes better brakes. The redesigned sport brake system now has four-piston, fixed-calliper disc brakes on the rear wheels, on top of the larger brake discs on the front and rear. Alongside, the suspension is a JCW sport unit that is 10 mm lower than the standard and is equipped with Adaptive Suspension that can be adjusted to provide the best ride depending on driving conditions.<\/p>\n

As performance increases, both the JCW Clubman and Countryman require functional aesthetics for cooling as well. The JCW Countryman now features a new bumper trim panel with open air intakes on both sides for better cooling of the new engine.<\/p>\n

The JCW Clubman on the other hand, comes from a completely redesigned front bumper with enlarged cooling air intakes at both sides and two external coolant radiators to meet the requirements of the new engine.<\/p>\n

The cabin in both models are a JCW affair. From JCW steering wheel, instrument cluster, door sills and centre display trim, the interior is unique in their respects. Infotainment comes from an 8.8-inch touchscreen navigation unit with Mini Connected. The 12 speaker Harman Kardon system is present here as well, and to round things off, a head-up display for the driver comes included in both models.<\/p>\n

The Mini John Cooper Works Clubman and Countryman comes in shades of Rebel Green, Midnight Black and Chili Red, including White Silver for the JCW Clubman and Light White for the JCW Countryman.
