Goodyear updates Assurance DuraPlus range<\/strong><\/p>\n

Goodyear Malaysia has updated the range with the new Assurance DuraPlus 2 which comes with TredLife Technology that is designed to provide longer mileage and durability. It uses innovative tread design, cavity shape and re-formulated long-lasting compound and are capable of delivering tread life of up to 110,000 km without compromising on safety and performance. The tread pattern on the DuraPlus 2 comes with a symmetric design with a larger tread width which allows a larger surface area of the tyre to be in contact with the road at any time. The enhanced cavity shape helps provide a more squarish and balanced footprint to evenly distribute contact pressure, leading to extended mileage. The Assurance DuraPlus 2 is now available at Goodyear AutoCare centres in Malaysia with sizes ranging from 13 to 16 inches retailing between RM 136 to RM 293.<\/p>\n

Hyundai 3S centre opens in Klang<\/strong><\/p>\n

A new Hyundai 3S centre has opened in Klang to serve customers in the area. Currently it is the only Hyundai centre in Klang with another 3S located in Port Klang. The 3S centre by MN Automart carries the Hyundai Global Dealership Space Identity and offers premium services and convenience to all its customers. MN Automart is wholly owned by MeGroup, which has eight years\u2019 experience in the automotive industry, in particular managing premium passenger car brands. There are a total of nine Hyundai GDSI outlets in Klang Valley in addition to 3S centres, sales outlets and service centres nationwide. MN Automart showroom opens from 9 am to 6 pm weekdays and 10 am to 5 pm on Public Holidays and Sunday. Mercedes-Benz Malaysia has announced the availability of the all-new third-generation B200 Progressive Line that joins its compact car range. Powered by a 1.3-litre 4-cylinder turbocharged engine that outputs 161 hp and 250 Nm of torque from 1,620 to 4,000 rpm, mated to a 7G-DCT. The B200 accelerates from a standstill to 100 km\/h in 8.2-seconds.<\/p>\n

This 3S has 12 service bays, 6 service hoists as well as a comfortable customer lounge with free Wifi and ample car park bays for customers\u2019 convenience. Proton\u2019s ongoing efforts to encourage upgrading of its existing outlets has been strong. They now have 104 outlets both 3S and 4S nationwide. To date, East Malaysia saw a 31 per cent growth while Sabah\u2019s increase was 39 per cent compared to the same period last year.<\/p>\n

Proton together with Bank Rakyat are offering special financial packages for fresh grads and govt employees on specific Proton cars. Available until 31st<\/sup> December 2019, the package provides up to 100 per cent financing for fresh grads and government employees. The An-Naqlu 1 offers 90 per cent financing at 2.88 per cent per annum and An-Naqlu 2 offers 100 per cent financing at 3.30 per cent per annum. The offer is limited to new graduates aged between 20 to 30 years and govt employees from 18 to 60 years for the purchase of Persona, Iriz, Exora and Saga.<\/p>\n

Renault Megane RS 280 Cup sets all-new Sepang lap time<\/strong><\/p>\n

The brand\u2019s Renault Sport Track day this year saw a total 30 Renault Sport owners put their skills and vehicle performance to the test. TC Euro Cars also took the opportunity to conduct a timed run of the all-new Megane RS 280 Cup EDC which bettered the previously recorded lap time by 3-seconds. 2:38 mins versus 2:41 by the RS 265 Cup. The stock car runs on 19-inch Yokohama AD08R 245\/35 tyres which were the official tyre sponsor for the event. The Megane RS 280 Cup EDC is priced at RM 299,888 on the road without insurance.<\/p>\n
