The parade comprised of Beetle cars of all colours that has been uniquely customised to reflect the personalities of their owners.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-14067 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.carsome.my\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/wp\/20190713-5.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1000\" height=\"667\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.carsome.my\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/wp\/20190713-5.jpg 1000w, https:\/\/www.carsome.my\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/wp\/20190713-5-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.carsome.my\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/wp\/20190713-5-768x512.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The itinerary for the event began in the morning, where a convoy of 138 Beetle&#8217;s making their way through KL before heading to Putrajaya for the Gathering.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-14068 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.carsome.my\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/wp\/20190713-15.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1000\" height=\"667\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.carsome.my\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/wp\/20190713-15.jpg 1000w, https:\/\/www.carsome.my\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/wp\/20190713-15-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.carsome.my\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/wp\/20190713-15-768x512.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Erik Winter, Managing Director of VPCM expressed his heartfelt appreciation to the Beetle owners who had come from as far north as Perlis and from Johor Bahru for coming together. \u201cIt was an emotional moment for us to see the rows and rows of colourful air-cooled and water-cooled Beetle cars and I believe all those who were present today shared this sentiment.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-14072 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.carsome.my\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/wp\/20190713-41.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1000\" height=\"667\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.carsome.my\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/wp\/20190713-41.jpg 1000w, https:\/\/www.carsome.my\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/wp\/20190713-41-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.carsome.my\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/wp\/20190713-41-768x512.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is a car that has united people across all walks of life, and they all gathered in Putrajaya over one common passion \u2013 the Beetle. The winners of the \u201cBest in Show\u201d cars were Fairul Irwan, Raja Gopal and Thavanesan A\/L Selvaratnam, while Siti Aishah Ismail\u2019s Instagram posting of her Bug earned the \u201cMost Liked Car\u201d title.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-14071 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.carsome.my\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/wp\/20190713-31.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1000\" height=\"667\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.carsome.my\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/wp\/20190713-31.jpg 1000w, https:\/\/www.carsome.my\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/wp\/20190713-31-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.carsome.my\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/wp\/20190713-31-768x512.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>On display at the event was the Collector\u2019s Edition Beetle, launched in Malaysia just one day after the last Beetle rolled out from the production line at Volkswagen\u2019s Puebla factory. It comes decked out with a list of accessories worth up to RM 12,000, including a rear spoiler, decorative film, chrome exhaust tips, aluminium sports pedals, scuff plates, VW Tint and an emblem marking its production run.
