How the letter comes together is the brand\u2019s roots in Namyang, where the heart of Hyundai Motor\u2019s global R&amp;D network and how they further hone the vehicles at the N\u00fcrburgring. The curved lines in the letter N also represents the corners on a racetrack where a car can be pushed to the limit.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-13774 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.carsome.my\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/Press-Photo3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1000\" height=\"667\" \/><\/p>\n<p>This year\u2019s N\u00fcrburgring 24 Hours race marked Hyundai Motor\u2019s fourth consecutive year of participation, which saw its full lineup of high-performance vehicles. The N\u00fcrburgring circuit is best known for being one of the most challenging tracks in the world. The 25 km course consisting of 73 corners, tight roads, various elevation, and sharp turns. The race record is calculated based on travel distance for 24 hours, which puts each competitor\u2019s drive performance and durability through the ultimate test.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-13775\" src=\"https:\/\/www.carsome.my\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/Press-Photo4.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1000\" height=\"667\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The Veloster N TCR (touring car racing) placed 2nd place and 45th place each in its class and in overall ranking. The i30 N TCR placed 3rd place and 94th place in its class and the overall race respectively. The driving performance of the vehicle was spot on at the N\u00fcrburgring circuit, showing its remarkable durability in the TCR class.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-13772\" src=\"https:\/\/www.carsome.my\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/Press-Photo1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1000\" height=\"667\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In the V2T class, the i30 Fastback N, entered to highlight Hyundai\u2019s development of the class, ranking 97th place overall, further accentuated the company\u2019s outstanding race track capability with all vehicles successfully completing grueling 24 Hours Race.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Hyundai Motor\u2019s outstanding performance in the N\u00fcrburgring 24 Hours Race proves the company\u2019s performance vehicle capability.\u201d Said Thomas Schemera, Executive Vice President and Head of Product Division, Product Operation &amp; N Sub-Division at Hyundai Motor Group. \u201cWe hope to bring this experience straight to the every-day driver, to share the excitement, through the N brand.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-13777\" src=\"https:\/\/www.carsome.my\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/Press-Photo6.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1000\" height=\"667\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Hyundai began its journey at the N\u00fcrburgring 24 Hours Race in 2016 with the Hyundai i30 2.0 Turbo development car, placing 90th. In just one year, Hyundai began closing the gap between its competition when the Hyundai i30 N came in 50th in 2017. Last year, 2 i30 N TCR vehicles finished at 35th and 58th, displaying constant improvement in the high-performance sector. With its excellent performance in 2019, Hyundai Motor consistently showed off improvements in driving capability and vehicular durability, which the company aims to apply to its passenger vehicles.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-13776 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.carsome.my\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/Press-Photo5.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1000\" height=\"667\" \/><\/p>\n<p>While demonstrating strong racing capabilities, Hyundai Motor also highlighted the \u2018N\u2019 brand\u2019s presence by providing a hospitality event to global 300 N guests with an exclusive N experience. Under the name of \u201924 Hours of Hyundai N Experience\u2019 with the concept of \u2018N Homecoming\u2019, Hyundai celebrated N brand\u2019s return to the root of its name \u2018N\u2019, derived from Namyang, Hyundai\u2019s global R&amp;D center, and N\u00fcrburgring, home to the Hyundai Motor European Test Center.
