Malaysia\u2019s first MPV made its debut in 2009 which was then facelifted in 2011 to feature the new turbocharged Campro engines and gearbox. Now available in two variants of Executive and Premium, what\u2019s new in the latest Exora?<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-size: 22px;\">Power<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"width: 100%; height: 100%;\" src=\"https:\/\/carsomemy.s3.ap-southeast-1.amazonaws.com\/News\/2019%20Proton%20Exora\/IMG_8445.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In terms of performance, the new Exora is powered by the same 1.6-litre turbocharged Campro engine developing 138 hp and 205 Nm of torque from 2,000 to 4,000 rpm and mated to a CVT transmission.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-size: 22px;\">Exterior<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"width: 100%; height: 100%;\" src=\"https:\/\/carsomemy.s3.ap-southeast-1.amazonaws.com\/News\/2019%20Proton%20Exora\/2019%20exora%20360.gif\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Unlike the significant changes made to the Iriz and Persona, the exterior of the Exora hasn\u2019t been worked on extensively. The only additions are the shark fin antenna on the black roof and a Rosewood Maroon exterior colour option. That aside, the Premium does come with Daytime Running Lamps, Rear Fog Lamp, Side Skirts, Rear Spoiler and Electric Folding Door Mirrors.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-size: 22px;\">Interior<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"width: 100%; height: 100%;\" src=\"https:\/\/carsomemy.s3.ap-southeast-1.amazonaws.com\/News\/2019%20Proton%20Exora\/dash-exora.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"width: 100%; height: 100%;\" src=\"https:\/\/carsomemy.s3.ap-southeast-1.amazonaws.com\/News\/2019%20Proton%20Exora\/IMG_8465.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"width: 100%; height: 100%;\" src=\"https:\/\/carsomemy.s3.ap-southeast-1.amazonaws.com\/News\/2019%20Proton%20Exora\/IMG_8469.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Most changes are to the cabin, where the upholstery, centre cluster, instrument cluster and head unit has been updated. The seats and trim on the doors now feature a perforated square quilt pattern; the centre cluster above the air vents have been redone and omits the digital clock and the instrument panel is now the same found in the recent Iriz and Persona with the colour multi-info display. Of course the Exora gets the same 7-inch touchscreen GKUI head unit with voice commands and 4G internet.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-size: 22px;\">Technology and Safety<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"width: 100%; height: 100%;\" src=\"https:\/\/carsomemy.s3.ap-southeast-1.amazonaws.com\/News\/2019%20Proton%20Exora\/Proton%20Exora%20Head%20Unit.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Following up from above, the similar head unit that was first seen in the Proton X70 is included with the Exora. Users will be able to use voice commands and has navigation, online music streaming, smartphone mirroring, Wifi connectivity.
