They will be driving from Kuala Lumpur to Hangzhou in China in a drive that will span four countries, 13 cities and 13,000 km. Their destination? To the headquarters of the Zhejiang Geely Holding Group, where the X70 was developed.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"width: 100%; height: 100%;\" src=\"https:\/\/carsomemy.s3.amazonaws.com\/News\/Proton-China%20drive%20to%20Geely\/Flag-off%203.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>This private trip, dubbed the \u2018Proton X70 Malaysia-China Amazing Trip 2019\u2019, is one that is led by the Borneo Automobile Leisure Touring Team and the Kunming Scenery-Customer International Travel Co. and supported by Proton. The company has set up checkpoints along the route through Thailand and Laos at dealer locations and service centres to welcome the participants.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"width: 100%; height: 100%;\" src=\"https:\/\/carsomemy.s3.amazonaws.com\/News\/Proton-China%20drive%20to%20Geely\/Group%20photo%20between%20the%20participants%20and%20management%20of%20PROTON.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The flag off ceremony took place earlier today at Proton\u2019s Centre of Excellence in Shah Alam and is expected to reach Hangzhou by 12<sup>th<\/sup> March, with a return date to Kuala Lumpur on 28<sup>th<\/sup> March. Of course owners will visit the Geely Experience Centre and learn more about Geely\u2019s history and their latest models on sale.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"width: 100%; height: 100%;\" src=\"https:\/\/carsomemy.s3.amazonaws.com\/News\/Proton-China%20drive%20to%20Geely\/Photo%201.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>For owners and drivers, the trip will certainly be one for memories and relationships.
