Carsome’s Refer A Friend campaign is back, with a bigger angpao reward this Chinese New Year! Tell up to FIVE friends to sell to Carsome, and get RM688 for each friend that you refer. It doesn’t get better than this!
This CNY Exclusive Refer A Friend Campaign starts from now till 28 February 2021. It is open to customers (who are also known as referrers in this case) who have successfully sold their cars to Carsome between 1 January 2015 and 28 February 2021. That’s right, it doesn’t matter if you and your friends sell your car on the same day, week or month, you’ll still get rewarded!
If you’ve sold your car to Carsome in the past, you’re entitled to be a referrer – so don’t hold back when it comes to telling your friends about us. If you’re thinking of selling your car, why not sell it to Carsome now? Refer your friends and family immediately after, and get your angpao from Carsome now!
How to participate?
Step 1 : Customers who have sold their car to Carsome from 1 Jan 2015 to 28 Feb 2021 are eligible to be Referrers
Step 2 : Refer their friends & family (referee) to sell their car between 15 Jan to 28 Feb 2021
Step 3: Referee to fill up form provided. They MUST include the Referrer’s unique code (SOLD Car Plate Number)
Step 4: RM688 cash reward for every successful referral! (This campaign is limited to 5 referees per referrer)
Terms & Conditions
i. This Refer A Friend Campaign (“Campaign”) is open to all customers (“Referrers”) who have successfully transacted with Carsome Sdn Bhd (“Carsome”) from Thursday, 1 Jan 2015 to Sunday, 28 February 2021 (both dates inclusive); and their new-to-Carsome contact(s) (“Referee(s)”) who transacts with Carsome from Friday, 15 January 2021 to Sunday, 28 February 2021 (both dates inclusive) (“Campaign Period”).
ii. Referee(s) must fill up the digital form provided during the car transaction. Referrers must ensure that their Referee(s) use their unique referral code (Referrer’s license plate number transacted with Carsome) at the point of car transaction.
iii. This campaign is valid for private car owners only. Company car owners, used car dealers or trade-in customers referred by sales agents are excluded.
iv. The Referrer will be rewarded RM688 for every successful Referee(s) that transact with Carsome during the Campaign Period. However, no rewards will be provided to the Referrer if the referral code is deemed to be invalid.
v. Every Referrer is entitled to be rewarded up to five (5) times throughout the Campaign Period.
vi. The cut-off time and date for the Referee’s transaction is at 6:00pm on Sunday, 28 February 2021.
vii. Qualified Referrers will be notified on Monday, 15 March 2021 of their rewards via email based on the contact details provided during the transaction with Carsome.
viii. Referrers must reply to the email from Carsome no later than Friday, 19 March 2021 with the required details.
ix. In the event that the Referrer cannot be contacted or did not reply by the deadline, the reward will be forfeited.
x. Rewards will be transferred to the Referrer’s bank account via online transaction on Friday, 26 March 2021 and are non-transferrable.
xi. Any prizes shown in Carsome’s website, Facebook page, advertisement and Campaign materials are for illustration purposes only.
xii. Carsome’s decisions on any matter relating to this Campaign are final and binding on all Referrers and Referees. If any matters arise which are not covered in these Terms & Conditions, they will be solely determined by Carsome.
xiii. Carsome reserves the right to amend or change these Terms & Conditions herein at their sole and absolute discretion.
xiv. To the extent permitted by law, Carsome excludes all liability in connection with this Campaign. All Referrers and Referees agree to release Carsome from and indemnify Carsome against all liability (including negligence) for any personal injury or for loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct or indirect, special or consequential arising out of participation in this Campaign.
xv. By participating in the Campaign, all Referrers and Referees:
a. Grant consent for Carsome to collect, record, hold, store, use and disclose their personal information for purposes which are necessary or related to the participation in the Campaign; and
b. Grant consent for Carsome to disclose or publish their personal information such as their names and identities and any general information that Carsome sees fit about the participants in any media, marketing or advertising materials; and
c. Grant Carsome the absolute and unrestricted right to modify, use and publish any still or moving images of the participants for any promotional, marketing, commercial or other related purpose, without any payment or compensation.
