Christmas comes early with Ford’s rewards and rebates!
Ford Malaysia is ending the year with unbeatable deals and rewards! For every purchase of a Ranger WildTrak, customers can receive up to RM 5,000 cash rebates, while Ranger XLT offers zero maintenance cost for five years or 100,000 km. Additionally, rebates of up to RM 23,000 for the Focus or Fiesta plus three years free maintenance and five years warranty. To enhance the festive cheer, customers can bring their vehicles in for a free 27-point inspection by Ford, with 20 per cent off on selected parts and 10 per cent labour discounts on lubricants, brake and timing belt packages on selected Ford models. The promotion is available nationwide from 18th of December until 17th of February 2018. Customers that spend more than RM350 on a single tax invoice receipt will also receive Ford’s official merchandise at authorised Ford dealers nationwide while stocks last.
Hyundai Tucson 4WD now available
Hyundai Sime Darby Motors has introduced a Premium 4WD Tucson that joins the three variants currently offered. The Premium 4WD features the same powertrain as the 2.0-litre MPi Elegance coupled to a six-speed automatic delivering 153 hp and 192 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm. However, this variant is mated to a 4WD system, with the usual full torque to the front wheels during normal road conditions and 40 per cent to the rear automatically depending on traction. Driver can manually select a ‘Lock Mode’ that splits the torque 50/50 for off road and low speed. Additionally, this variant has Twin LED Positioning Headlamps with Static Bending Light, dual zone air-conditioning, and panoramic sunroof. The Premium 4WD Tucson is RM 159,888 on the road excluding insurance.
Maserati’s Levante S conquers the SUV market in style
Naza Italia, has officially introduced the Levante S, a 3.0-litre petrol-powered twin-turbocharged V6 SUV that delivers 430 hp with a peak torque at 580 Nm at 5,000 rpm. The Levante S features all-wheel drive with a limited slip differential. Available in a GranLusso and GranSport trims, the former trim has a focus on luxury – with the cabin featuring Ermenegildo Zegna silk or full premium Italian leather upholstery with a Radica open-pore wood trim. Harman Kardon sound system, illuminated door sills, navigation and soft close doors are part of the experience. Prices start from RM 788,800 with a standard three-year warranty unlimited mileage.
Mitsubishi Motors introduces Triton VGT Premium & ASX Adventure
Mitsubishi Malaysia has introduced a new Triton VGT AT Premium and Triton VGT AT GL variant priced at RM 116,300 and RM 103,800 respectively and replaces the VGT AT and VGT Adventure variants previously offered. The new range of six variants is now reduced in price, including the VGT Adventure X now at RM 126,990. Mitsubishi’s Triton is the only pick-up in Malaysia with a 5-year or 200,000 km warranty as well as seven airbags for the Adventure variants, along with a host of other safety systems.
The brand is also putting out a limited ASX Adventure variant with a refreshed exterior and interior with Sporty Blue lining accents on the door trim and leather seats. This edition ASX Adventure will be limited to just 60 units at RM 123,988 and comes with a five-year warranty package and unlimited mileage.

You can now buy a VW Beetle on Lazada!
Yes you didn’t read that wrong. Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia has worked with Lazada Malaysia to sell 12 limited edition Beetles in conjunction with Lazada’s Online Revolution Campaign that starts from 12 to 14th December. Priced at RM 112,112 , the Beetles will be 18 per cent off their retail prices and is only valid in the Peninsula. Companies Offering Aid and Flood Relief Programs in the North
In the aftermath of the flood in Penang, Perodua were one of the companies that provided aid to all their vehicle owners. The assistance was in the form of discounts on selected parts and free inspections, all to determine the amount of damage done to the vehicles. Parts included all electronic items, carpet, vehicle seats, door trims and engine overhaul gasket. For any Perodua’s customers wanting to know the status of your car’s delivery, you are encouraged to phone Perodua’s toll free customer care line at 1800-88-5555 for towing assistance with terms and conditions applied.
From today up till 31st of December, Kia car owners affected by the flash flood can send their vehicle to any authorised Kia outlets in the north for a free vehicle inspection. Naza Kia Malaysia will offer discounts up to 50 per cent for genuine Kia parts replacement, which includes discount labour rates dependent on vehicle damage.
Safety precautions by Naza Kia to prevent major damage to your vehicle:
1) Do not attempt to start your vehicle or turn on ignition switch.
2) Unlock your vehicle’s door using the key manually to avoid failure of electronic parts of remote alarm.
3) Disconnect the negative battery terminal to prevent electricity flow within your vehicle.
4) Remove valuables from your vehicles before locking up your vehicle.
5) Lodge a police report and inform your insurance company.
6) Make arrangements to tow your vehicle to the nearest Naza Kia service centre.
Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia (VPCM) have also contributed with their own Flood Relief programme in midst of the recent floods. For Volkswagen owners whose vehicles are affected by the floods, Volkswagen will offer 30 per cent discount off the total invoice (including parts and labour). The VW Flood Relief programme will run until 28 February 2018.
Similarly, Mitsubishi Motors Flood Relief Effort offers a 40 per cent discount on spare parts and labour until 31st of December 2017. Besides discounts on parts, MMM will offer free towing services for vehicles involved in the flood to the nearest Mitsubishi service centre. All customers need to do is lodge a police report and call Mitsubishi Motors Customers Customer Careline at 1800-88-2166 or 03-7803 1566.
