Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia has unveiled a special edition Polo Black & White. The special edition Polo is limited to only 11 units in conjunction with Lazada’s annual 11.11 Shopping Festival celebration.
The special edition Polo Black & White will be sold on Volkswagen’s official store in Lazada’s online platform on 11th November 2018. Customers only need to pay the retail price of RM 68,488 to receive added accessories worth RM 7,500. Official banking partner Hong Leong Bank will also be offering a low interest rate of 1.11 per cent per annum for a 5-year loan.
Underneath, the Polo B&W is equipped with a 1.6-litre 104 hp petrol injection 16-valve Multi Point Injection (MPI) engine with 153 Nm of torque from 3,800 rpm. It is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission with Tiptronic with sport mode.
The Polo B&W as the name suggests is only available in Candy White, with a black rear spoiler, black body side moldings, leather seats, 15-inch black alloy wheels, black side mirror and authorised VW Tint.
Inside, VPCM has fitted the new RCD 340G head unit that offers a range of connectivity options including USB with iPod interface, Aux-In support, SD card slot, Bluetooth and App-Connect which is compatible with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and Mirrorlink.
Online car sales for VPCM isn’t new. The brand first partnered with Lazada last year to launch 12 exclusive limited edition Beetles on the platform as well as the Join range last month. To make a booking for the Polo B&W, those interested need to make a RM 799 booking fee via Lazada Wallet, credit card or online banking. They will be contacted by a Volkswagen representative for arrangements on their preferred dealership and to complete the registration and delivery of the vehicle.
The Polo B&W comes with 3-years free maintenance, 5-years manufacturer’s warranty and 5-years roadside assistance.
