Honda’s Odyssey is back – Now with Sensing

Honda Malaysia has launched the facelifted Odyssey MPV updated with Honda Sensing, the brand’s first model for 2018.

 

Exterior updates include a new front bumper, front grille, LED fog lights, new LED rear light designs, Retractable Side Mirrors, and new 17-inch Dual Tone Alloy Wheel design. Inside, a bigger armrest is present for the driver’s seat, 4-way passenger power seat, added storage and enhanced utility and bigger headrests for the Premium Captain Cradle Seats with Ottoman on the second row. The Ultra-Low Floor Platform makes it easy for passengers to enter and exit.

 

Performance wise, the new Odyssey is powered by the same 2.4-litre DOHC i-VTEC engine delivering 173 hp and 225 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm. It is mated to a CVT automatic.

 

Honda Sensing makes an introduction for the first time in the Odyssey – which brings Forward Collision Warning, Collision Mitigation Braking System, Lane Departure Warning, Road Departure Mitigation, Adaptive Cruise Control and Lane Keep Assist System, all of which have been introduced in the new CR-V and Accord.

On top of Sensing, other safety features includes a Multi-view Camera System, Smart Parking Assist System, Blind Spot Information and Cross Traffic Monitoring. Six Airbags come as standard, together with ABS, Brake Assist and EBD.

 

Priced at RM 254,800 on the road without insurance, the new Odyssey comes in Platinum White Pearl, Premium Twinkle Black Pearl and Super Platinum Metallic with a 5-year warranty with unlimited mileage and service interval of 10,000 km.
