The Data Insights(DI) team is responsible for providing Commercial and strategic insights on day-to-day Marketing Trends, the execution of strategic projects to multiply Carsome’s Growth rate, Creating frameworks to maintain Financial health metrics/positive cash flows and embed data driven decision making in operations funnels.

We are looking for an Experienced Marketing Analyst who has a passion towards in-depth Data analysis , Deriving Customer journey and funnel Management projects and adds value through actionable insights. This Role will be a regional role , Supporting leadership teams across Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and Singapore.

Your Day-to-Day

  • Analyse marketing channel performance and Deep-dive reports to stakeholders and Management
  • Conduct in-depth analyses and provide insights for business areas with larger challenges, helping marketers identify growth opportunities.
  • Assist our Growth Strategists in analyzing the results of A/B experiments.
  • Analysis on customer engagement rates, customer acquisition projects ( ex. Churn rate prediction, Attribution etc. )
  • Local implementation of marketing analytics projects related to improving marketing channels effectiveness, customer segmentation, campaign optimization, etc
  • Monitor campaigns against key performance indicators (KPIs), be fully aware of trends and analytics, success and risks in order to achieve business objectives.
  • Support the existing BI team on marketing dashboards / issues
  • Communicate complex ideas into understandable reports/documentation and this will include leveraging on leading software tools such as Tableau.

Your Know-Know

  • At least a Bachelor's Degree in Bachelor's Degree in Business/Data Science/Engineering/Computer Science or the equivalent.
  • 1-3 years of experience in strategy / consulting / analytical / project management roles; experience in e-commerce, Start-ups or Unicorns or entrepreneur experience preferred
  • Must have SQL/PostgreSQL/Tableau Experience.
  • Preferred: Experience with Google Analytics, CRM (MoEngage, Braze,Leanplum).
  • Good to have : Market Research, reporting and analytical skills, including carrying out weekly and monthly reporting
