About You
You will be responsible for the regional strategy and planning portfolio across the region to drive strategic business decisions and to implement plans/ strategies to help the business succeed.
Your Day-to-Day
Strategy
- Responsible for spearheading the strategic vision across all fronts of the business
- Responsible for the development of a regional and local activity planning process and ensuring its adoption across the businesses.
- Reviews key strategic priorities and translates them into actionable and quantitative plans
- Lead strategic projects to improve unification between wholesale and retail business
- Defining Supply and demand initiatives
- Enhancing Reporting and KPI structures
- Logistics/ procurement optimization
- Establish Seamless Buy-Sell Process
- Reviewing and refining overall business strategy accounting for risks and mitigation plans
- Developing models and simulations for new lines of business and running cost benefit analyses
- Supporting the business on investor relations preparation
Planning
- Develop capacity, demand, and supply strategy (operational forecasts) for short/ long term
- Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results
- Provide one point of contact for all forecasting-related to work with other functions to correct any issues
Your Know-How
- A tertiary qualification or equivalent.
- At least 5 - 7 year(s) of working experience in the Strategy roles in Consulting/ E-commerce/ Tech
- Good command in English & B. Malaysia. Mandarin will be a plus point.
- Proven ability to work within fast-paced and dynamic work environments.
- Resourceful and able to identify the right hiring channels to recruit talented people.
- Required Skill(s): PowerPoint, Word, Excel & Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Excellent interpersonal & communication skills.
